Travis Head were celebrated as the player of the match for his power hitting knock. Hitting the ball all over the boundary and finished the job in just 10 overs where opposition found trouble to cross 170 runs. Bhuvi’s Contribution in this game can’t be unnoticed. His Spelling was brilliant and he didn’t even concede a single boundary in this game. Shahbaz also was economic. Because of power smashing inning from Head and Abhishek, SRH gained huge run rate and climbed to the 3rd position of the point table.
Lucknow Super Giants failed in all three departments. In batting, Badoni and Pooran’s partnership was much needed to the team, but that wasn’t enough. In bowling, they were missing Mayank Yadav. They should had brought back Matt Henry to the squad in this condition. Now LSG holds the 6th position of the point table. Mumbai Indians became the first team to be eliminated of this IPL season.
