50th IPL Match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals was happened in Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad on the 2nd May, 2024. Sunrisers Hyderabad choose batting first after wins the toss.
FIRST INNING- Avesh Khan dismissed Abhishek Sharma in his first over. Travis head was full in control against Rajasthan Royals bowlers. After the fall of two wickets, Head and Nitish Reddy took the game forward and provided necessary partnership, Much needed by team. Travis Head put up an impressive 58 runs in 44 balls with 6 fours and 3 sixes. Nitish Reddy is proving true to his beliefs in smashing style. He choose to attack on players like Ashwin and Chahal!!! After the dismissal of Travis Head, Nitish Reddy didn’t stop hitting, and Klaasen also gave good supports. Nitish Reddy Smashed 76 runs on 42 balls with 3 fours and 8 sixes. Klaasen also showed his classes, smashing 42 runs in just 19 balls with 3 fours and 3 sixes. Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 201-3, Avesh Khan took 2 wickets while Sandeep Sharma grabbed one.
SECOND INNING- What a start from Bhuvneshwar Kumar! In his first Over, he took wickets of Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson! Sanju Samson’s Dismissal was treat to watch for SRH fans and Bhuvi’s Fan . Rajasthan Royals Openers Yashasvi and Riyan Parag took the team away from danger and Started hitting against the SRH Bowlers fast . Yashasvi made 67 runs in 40 balls with 7 fours and 2 sixes, This season, Riyan parag’s skills and mindset are much talking points of IPL Fans and also giving perfect answers to his critics! Riyan parag smashed 77 runs in 49 balls with 8 fours and 4 sixes, Pat Cummins and Natarajan didn’t surrendered and bowled well in the deaths overs. In! 18th Over, Natarajan came out with just 7 runs and took one wickets. In 19th over, Pat cummins allowed only 7 runs and took 1 wicket. 13 runs were needed from six balls for Rajasthan royals where Swing king Bhuvneshwar stepped in to bowl. Bhuvi kept good control in the over… 2 runs was required on last ball for Rajasthan royals and striker end was Rovman Powell! Bhuvneswar threw a wonderful yorker and an LBW was given! Powell had not answers for the ball and got out. This is How Sunrisers Hyderabad Won by 1 run. Bhuvneshwar Kumar took 3 wickets, Natarajan and Cummins took 2 wickets each.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar was named Player of the match for his vintage bowling from the start to the ends. Sunrisers Hyderabad has best death bowling units, SRH Captain Cummins and Natarajan provided excellent bowling at the death overs which helped much to Bhuvneshwar! Sunrisers Hyderabad is first team to defend against Rajasthan royals successfully in this IPL! Nitish Reddy came into the game when SRH was 35-2 and gave splendid supports to Head and played amazing cricket . Klaasen in ends was also too good at smashing! SRH comes back to 4th position on point table.
Rajasthan Royals, topper of the Point table, did nothing wrong in this match, but they went shortage by 1 run! The partnerships between Yashasvi and Riyan Parag almost took the game away from SRH! Riyan Parag is very crucial player for Rajasthan Royals now and a super star of this IPL. Rajasthan Royals bowlers had less control, in compare to SRH Bowlers . Rajasthan Royals is still holding no 1 position of the point table.
