2nd ODI Between South Africa and India played at St George’s Park, Gqeberha on Dec 19,2023 . South Africa Won the Toss and decided to bowl . South Africa Had two changes williams and B Hendricks in place of Shamsi and Phehlukwayo and India had one change Rinku Singh in Place of Shreyash Iyer who left the squad for Upcoming Test Series .
Ruturaj failed to give a good Start . Sai Sudharsan played another knock of 62 runs .He also build a good partnership with India captain KL Rahul . Kl Rahul Scored 56 runs in 64 balls with 7 fours . But Other India batmen were unable to find runs for the team . Burger, Hendricks and Maharaj did a solid job against India batters .Burger took 3 wickets .Hendricks and Maharaj shared 2 wickets each .India only managed to score 211-10 .
South Africa openers had perfect plan for India Bowlers after devastating performance of first ODI . They didn’t give any chance to India Bowlers .Tony der Zorzi score a century and Reeza Hendricks scored a Half century .With the help of both openers, South Africa chased down the target in 42.3 overs .
India batsmen should take responsibility to take the team forward . South Africa took all the opportunity they had .
