Samson’s maiden Century and Clinical Performance by India Bowlers Sealed ODI Series victory .

3rd ODI or last match between South Africa and India of the ODI Series was played at Boland Park, Paarl on Dec 21, 2023 . South Africa opted to bowl . India had two changes in their team ,Rajat Patidar and Washington Sunder  in Place of Ruturaj Gaikwad and Kuldeep Yadav .

Both of India Openers  didn’t give a proper start . Sanju Samson came to bat at no-3  and notched his maiden century in a spectacular display of skill and composure .  After 3 wickets , India team were slow on the board .Amidst a challenging scenario, Samson and Tilak  made a resilient partnership of 116 runs . Tilak Verma scored 52 runs in 77 balls . This partnership was much needed to the Team .Rinku Singh also showed his class at the end of the inning. B Hendricks took 3 wickets and  Burger took 2 wickets . Williams , Mulder and Maharaj shared one wicket each .Brilliance performance of Samson and Tilak made India to reach 296-8 .

Tony De Zorzi again became a nightmare for India Bowlers.  The Partnership between Tony De Zorzi and Markram tried to put India  bowlers in a difficult situation . But India bowlers weren’t keen to give up . In a bowling masterclass , Arshdeep Singh scalped an Impressive four wickets and gave consistency and a game changing impact in the fiercely contested match . Washington was very economical  in bowling . Washington and Avesh khan shared two wickets each . South Africa managed to score 218 runs .

India Sealed the ODI Series in 2-1 . KL Rahul’s Captaincy was a top class . Handling a New team , that isn’t everyone’s  cup of Tea . Sanju Samson got the player of the Match Award . Arshdeep Singh got the player of the Series Award .

India’s Tour of South Africa ‘s T20 and ODI matches are done. Now we have two tests , one in centurion and another in Cape Town .
