1St T20 Between India-W and England-W was played at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai . India-W captain H Kaur won the toss and decided to bowl first . Shreyanka Patil and Saika Ishaque gave debut for India .
At the First over, Renuka Singh took the wicket of Dunkley and A Capsey and put India on a track .But after that, Wyatt and Sciver-Brunt build a brilliant partnership . This is Where India- W bowlers failed to break this partnership. In the mean time, D Wyatt Scored 75 runs in 47 balls with 8 fours and 2 sixes and Nat Sciver-Brunt scored 77 Runs in 53 balls with 13 Fours. D wyatt and Sciver-Brunt’s contribution helped England-W to score 197-6(20).Renuka did a fabulous job by taking 3 wickets .Debutant Shreyanka Patil took the wicket of England-W captain H Knight and wicketkeeper Amy Jones. Another Debutant Saika Ishaque got a wicket of D Wyatt.
S Mandhana and Rodrigues didn’t do well . Richa Ghosh and H Kaur tried to set a good partnership with Shefali and that wasn’t enough . Shefali Verma’s Knock was a top level. Shefali Scored 52 runs in 42 balls . Sophie Ecclestone took 3 wickets .Nat Sciver-Brunt’s brilliant inning and got a wicket , made her to grab player of the Match Award .
India-W’s Main Concern was fielding and fitness .This was the main reason for England-w to score 197. After two wicket, England-w hold their nerve and did no mistakes . May be India was playing after a long time. So it was very hard to find rhythm .
