Mustafizur’s Masterclass and Clinical batting Performance of CSK Batters produced an easy win against RCB .

Chennai Super Kings and Royal challengers Bengaluru locked horns in IPL’s Epic Opener .The First match of the season IPL 2024 between
CSK and RCB took place at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai on 22nd March, 2024. Royal Challengers Bengaluru won the toss and decided to bat first .

As we know, MS Dhoni stepped down from captaincy of CSK and entrusted Ruturaj Gaikward with captaincy duties .Ruturaj Gaikwad inherited the captaincy mantle from MS Dhoni. RCB captain Faf Du Plesis and Virat Kohli came to open for the team .Du Plesis gave a perfect start and at some point, Chennai Super Kings Had no answers against RCB captain. Mustafizur Rahman brought first wicket of Faf du Plesis and turned the table against RCB. Du Plesis scored 35 runs in 23 balls with 8 fours . Mustafizur got the wickets of Rajat, Virat and Cameron Green . His Bowling figure was 4-0-29-4 . After five wickets down of RCB, Anuj Rawat and Dinesh Karthik were able to control the situations of the team and provided 95 runs partnership which was much needed to the RCB . With Brilliant batting from Karthik and Anuj, Royal challengers Bengaluru reached to 173-6 . Anuj Rawat scored 48 runs in 25 balls with 4 fours and 3 sixes and Karthik scored 38 runs in 26 balls with 3 fours and 2 sixes.

 

 

Rachin Ravindra provided a good start. What a player! Rachin Ravindra is . He didn’t look like he was playing his first ipl match .He was fully charged both on field and with bat. Rachin Scored 37 runs in 15 balls with 3 fours and 3 sixes . Ajinkya Rahane, D Mitchell
produced some good shots but couldn’t take the game deep. Cameron Green took 2 wickets. Shivam Dube and Ravindra Jadeja didn’t give much chance to the opposition and formed 66 runs strong partnership . Chennai Super Kings chased down the target very easily .

 

 

Defending Champion Chennai Super Kings had everything under control and started with a win in their home ground . . Mustafizur’s Excellence bowling was the key factor in their bowling unit . So that is why He got the player of the match . Rachin’s batting gave enough boost to reach the target .

In the Other End, Royal Challengers Bengaluru didn’t put their pieces together . Even In their batting , they had some problems. I hope they
will clarify their mistakes in their next match against punjab Kings on 25th march, 2024.
