Melbourne Stars overpowered Melbourne Renegades in Stellar Showdown .

23rd BBL Match Between Melbourne Stars and Melbourne Renegades took place at Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne on Jan 02, 2024. Melbourne stars won the toss and decided to bowl first .There was some  rain earlier so the game started late and reduced the game  to 14 overs each side .

De Kock Shined bright at the beginning , But Lone Effort Faltered without Support . Formidable Bowling Attack from Stars put Renegades under pressure and gave no chance to batsmen for settlement .   Melbourne renegades managed to score 97-7 in 14 overs . All the bowlers ,except Stoinis  were able to take a wicket at  least .

Melbourne Stars Opener Rogers and Maxwell chased down the target in swift 12.1 overs  .  Glenn Maxwell won the player of the Match Award for his economical bowling and  marvelous batting . Now After this Win, Melbourne Stars reached to spot no-3 of the point table, BBL 2023-24 .
