47th IPL Match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals was playing at the Eden Garden, Kolkata  on April 29, 2024. Delhi capitals won the toss and choose to bat first!!!

FIRST INNING –
Kolkata Night Riders Bowlers was too good and didn’t give much chances for Delhi capitals Batters to settle! Jake Fraser-McGurk’s Impact didn’t work in this match. Rishab pant and Axar tried to control the situation but failed miserably against KKR bowlers. Varun Chakravarthy took dangerous Batman Rishab Pant out on time, Kuldeep yadav played an unbelievable innings in most difficult time when no stopping of falling wicket. Kuldeep yadav smashed 35 runs on 26 balls with 5 fours and a six. Varun had good control Over his spelling and also had best figures in, this match, was 4-0-16-3 . Vaibhav Arora and Harshit rana took 2 wickets each . Mitchell Starc, and Sunil narine got one wicket each. With the help of Solid Contribution from Kuldeep Yadav, Delhi Capitals reached 153-9.

SECOND INNING –
Philip Salt started the inning very aggressive, and didn’t put a break. Salt didn’t knew how and when to stop hitting in the first power play. Salt went  for every opposition bowler to attack. Salt scored 68 runs in 33 balls with 7 fours and 5 sixes, Axar Patel came and broke the opening partnership of KKR.  In his second over, Axar took the wicket of Philip Salt, Salt had scored enough the runs on Board!, So It became easy for other KKR batsmen to chase down the targets.  After Fallen of three wickets, KKR Captain Shreyas iyer and V iyer Finished the game very easily by smashing some crazy shots.

 

Varun Chakravarthy was named the Player of the Match for his brilliant spelling.  All the KKR Bowlers Contributed equally in this match . They corrected their mistakes from previous match against Punjab kings, Philip salt gave proper start and, took away the game from Delhi capitals. Shreyash iyer and venkatesh iyer chased down the taget very Easily. KKR Performed in a complete package!, after this win, KKR is at no 2 position of the point Table.

Delhi capital Decision to take bat first was a wrong choice. According to this  pitch from previous games, Chasing would be lot easier, Jake failed to give a good start. The way Philip Salt started, Delhi capitals Bowlers had stand no chance against KKR. With this Loss, Delhi capitals, is in the 6th position of the point Table,
