The 5th and Final T20 match between India And Australia was played at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru . Australia decided to bowl first. India openers didn’t give a good start . But Shreyas Iyer ‘s inning was a well fought knock. He scored 53 runs in 37 balls with 5 fours and 2 sixes. Jitesh and Axar contributed very well at the other end . Australia bowlers was accurate on their line and length. They restricted India to 160-8.
Australia Opener Travis Head started well but that wasn’t enough to his side. Ben McDermott’s Knock was much needed to the Australia. McDermott scored 54 runs in 36 balls .Tim David and Mathew short tried to put some runs on board and not enough for the team . Mukesh kumar ‘s magical spelling turned the table and he took 3 wickets which was very impressive . Arshdeep took the McDormott wicket and after that Australia wickets started falling . Also Arshdeep took the wicket Australia Captain Wade, who wasn’t ready to give up, at the last over. India bowlers was too good at the end of the overs .Ravi Bishnoi stopped Travis Head on time and he got the player of the Series Award . Axar was so very economical in his bowling and he scored 31 runs which helped him to grab man of the match award .
Both teams played with their league’s top players . From India side, Rinku Singh was most impressive player who we got attention of him from IPL .Dwarshuis, Ellis ,McDermott and T sangha are outstanding players of the BBL and they did a good job here. BBL is going to start from 7 Dec,2023. Next week India is going start their campaign in South Africa where they will play 3 T20s, 3ODIs and 2 Tests.
