In the First Inning, Khawaja and Munro came to bat from Brisbane Heat. Khawaja started well but failed to play big . At the other end, Munro played a ridiculous inning and scored 99 runs in 61 balls with 9 fours and 5 Sixes . Labuschagne gave all the support to Munro but didn’t do much at the crease .Munro’s Special inning took Brisbane Heat to reach 214-3. Melbourne Star’s Bowlers were too much expensive. Paris ,Maxwell and Coulter-Nile took 1 wicket Each .
In the 2nd Innings, No batters from Melbourne Stars could help the team to put on track . Cartwright tried to get runs on the Board But Eventually He failed . Cartwright scored 33 runs in 16 balls with 2 Fours and 3 Sixes . All the bowlers of Brisbane Heat was Successful to take wickets. M Neser started very well by taking two openers . Then M Swepson gave too much pressure to the Opposition by taking the wickets of Burns and Maxwell . Swepson took 3 wickets. M Neser and Bartlett took two wickets each . S Johnson, Kuhnemann and Walter got one wicket each . Melbourne Stars managed to score 111 by loosing all the wickets .
It was a massive win to the Brisbane Heat against Melbourne Stars and it helped them to get two points on the table .
