Cameron Green put on an all-round show that helped Australia secure a clean sweep of the series against Scotland on September 7, Saturday. Green stayed unbeaten with 62 runs and took 3 wickets. Australia won the match by 6 wickets, making them ready for the upcoming England tour.

The hosts began strongly. Ollie Hairs scored 12 out of 18 runs by the 2.2 overs mark before Aaron Hardie dismissed him. Brandon McMullen and George Munsey kept up the pace. They ensured Scotland crossed 50 well within powerplay overs. Even though Munsey was out for 25 runs, Scotland managed to score 56 runs for the loss of 2 wickets during powerplay.
Mark Watt scored some crucial runs towards the end, but the Aussies’ disciplined bowling meant they only needed to chase 150 runs to win the game.
AUSTRALIA-
Green and Marsh each smashed a six in the final powerplay over to push up the score, then continued to counterpunch and regain momentum. Both batters went on a boundary-hitting spree. Even though Marsh fell near halfway, Australia kept marching forward. Green kept hitting sixes, and Tim David got back-to-back boundaries off Jack Jarvis. Green topped off an excellent outing with a half-century as Australia wrapped up things with almost four over remaining.
